Gluten Free Map of Vietnam

Everything in Vietnam is noodles. Lucky for you, they're made from rice! And if not rice, they're made from tapioca or mung bean starch. You can eat noodles in all forms in Vietnam, whether they are flat and wide, thin and round, thick and slippery, or in steamed cake forms that are then topped with delicious goodies. Here you will eat all the noodles, herbs, and fish sauce that your heart desires. Just beware of "mi" noodles which are Chinese influenced egg noodles that are made with wheat. Though, the abundance of rice noodles will make those easy to avoid.

If you're planning a trip to South East Asia and you're wondering about your gluten free options here in Vietnam, we can help you out! This is by no means an extensive map, but we noted our favourites and added some recommended places found in our research. We did not spend much time in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), so the points listed there are mostly from other online resources. Most of the restaurants listed below serve Vietnamese food.
